This is a school-related post, where I’m going to evaluate my blog and my effort in the Project and Specialization-class.
When we first made a blog, I was actually really determined that it was going to be great. I had a lot of inspiration, and I wanted to make a blog that I could be proud of and write about what I find interesting, like music, movies and travel for example.
The design started out really bad, but after a while I changed the blog platform and found my own “style”!
But now I’m gonna talk a little bit about the blog I’m currently using www.ibenheleneUSA.blogg.no (I’ve shut this one down for a while, since I can’t find the time to make great posts!).
The design is really light and feminine. I think it’s easy to navigate the menu that you see on right side. First you have an introduction about me, then “Katergorier” and “Arkiv”, so you can read older posts (it’s really easy to use, so I love that feature!), and in the bottom you have links to other exchangestudents’ blogs! The little blue button takes you to my Bloglovin’ page, like an RSS-page.
The header is quite simple, I like it that way. It is just a picture of me and my blog address.
The posts on this blog is filled with irony and humor, and I always try to post pictures wether it’s Google pictures or pictures I’ve taken myself. I’m not that good at writing where the pictures are from, but I’m going to improve that, haha!
I found the design at this blog, and just made some small adjustments because I liked the base. But I’m thinking about changing the design, as it’s getting a little old (and I’m getting easily tired of designs!). I’m thinking about using this:
You can find the design here.
Of course I’ll make some small adjustments on this one too, we’ll see how it goes.
On this blog, I’ve just kept it simple, posted pictures, music, videos and schoolwork. I probably should’ve posted more schoolwork, and I’m actually going to do that! I’ve made som nice pictures on photoshop that I’m thinking about sharing with you. So all in all I’m pretty pleased with the way my blogs worked out!
